The Floral Highland Cow

We should probably begin with the lady who has already made it quite clear that she expects the best seat on the sofa.

The Floral Highland Cow is the character of the collection: warm, expressive and surrounded by Scottish thistles, soft meadow flowers and delicate botanical details.

Her shaggy golden-brown coat brings richness and warmth, while the dusty pink, heather and soft purple flowers keep the design gentle enough to sit comfortably in a living room, bedroom or cosy reading corner.

She is cheerful without becoming novelty décor, detailed without feeling busy and almost impossible to look at without smiling.

The reverse is finished in a soft dusty antique rose, chosen to echo the flowers surrounding her. Turn the pillow around and the statement design becomes a calm, muted accent.

The Wild Highland Meadow

The Wild Highland Meadow is the quieter botanical sister of the collection.

Tall Scottish thistles rise between delicate grasses, faded leaves, tiny white blossoms and softly painted pink and purple flowers. The natural cream background gives the design the feeling of an old botanical study discovered inside a country-house library.

It brings the garden indoors without becoming overly formal or polished. There is movement in the stems, softness in the flowers and just enough wildness to make it feel as though the meadow has been allowed to arrange itself.
