The Hamptons House is all about those beautifully quiet combinations: washed blues, warm ivory, crisp white, natural texture and just enough pattern to make a room feel collected rather than decorated.
So we went shopping.
Not for five blue things. 😂
For five pieces that could actually live together — the kind of details that take a room from nice to “Ohhh… I love this.”

01. Start with the hydrangeas 🤍
There are flowers that work beautifully in a room.
And then there are hydrangeas.
For The Hamptons House, they were almost inevitable.
We chose these soft white faux hydrangeas because they bring in the fullness and romance we wanted without adding another big block of blue. The white blooms lighten the entire edit and let the pieces around them do the talking.
The stems are approximately 18.5 inches long, which also gives you room to adjust the arrangement depending on the vase and where you want to use them.
CPP styling note: Keep the arrangement generous but relaxed. Hamptons should never look as though somebody attacked it with a ruler.
02. Add one beautiful piece of blue 💙
This blue-and-white ceramic vase is where the room gets its stronger colour moment.
The painterly, almost watery pattern feels much softer than traditional blue-and-white porcelain, which is exactly why we like it here. It gives us plenty of blue without pushing the room into nautical or overly themed territory.
At approximately 9 inches / 23 cm tall, it also works beautifully as a tabletop or console piece.
Pair it with those white hydrangeas and suddenly the two products stop looking like separate Amazon finds.
They become an arrangement.
And that is what Shop the Palette is about.
03. Bring in the pattern — with a little CPP 🛋️
Now for the piece that anchors the whole edit.
Our The Hamptons House Trellis Pillow uses a warm ivory ground with delicate washed-blue lines and tiny floral details.
Rather than adding another large floral print beside the hydrangeas, the trellis gives the room a quieter layer of pattern.
For this particular look, we would choose the lumbar version.
The longer shape works beautifully on a sofa, chair or bed and gives the arrangement a slightly more considered, interior-designed feel.

04. Warm it up with something natural 🤎
Blue and white can become cold very quickly if everything around it is polished.
That is where this woven rattan-and-wood photo frame earns its place.
The warm timber and natural woven texture immediately soften the palette and introduce the relaxed, lived-in quality that makes Hamptons interiors feel inviting rather than showroom-perfect.
It holds a 4 × 6 inch photograph, so we'd style it with something personal rather than generic artwork.
A family photograph. A holiday by the sea. The dog occupying considerably more of the sofa than originally agreed.
You know. Home. 😂
05. Finish with softness 🤍
Our last piece doesn't need to shout.
It needs to make you want to sit down.
This dove-grey chenille throw adds a beautiful warm-neutral texture that ties the ivory pillow, natural frame and crisp white hydrangeas together.
The tasselled edge gives it just enough detail, while the 50 × 60 inch / 127 × 152 cm size makes it an easy sofa or chair throw.
And importantly, we deliberately chose neutral rather than blue.
Because once you've found the right blue, you don't need to keep proving it. 😉
